 Brewing Tips
Coffee retains its freshness for only a short period of time after it is roasted. Order only as much coffee as you can drink in 2 to 3 weeks. Beyond 3 weeks, coffee looses much of its flavor and develops a flat taste.
Purchase a burr grinder and order your coffee whole bean. The shorter the time between when you grind your coffee and when you brew it, the more flavor you will taste in your cup. Once coffee is ground, much of its flavor is lost after just one hour.
Select a grind which best fits your situation: Fine, Medium, Course.
Use only fresh cool filtered/purified water to brew your favorite Daybreak Coffee.
Soft water causes grounds to expand more than hard water, so take care to use an appropriate amount of water to avoid overflow and grounds in your freshly brewed coffee.
We use the term "coffee beans" even though they come from berries. It's because each coffee berry has two beans.

 Storage Tips
Store your coffee in air-tight, opaque containers at room temperature. Moisture, air and sunlight diminish qualities in the bean such as flavor, intensity, and aroma.
Contrary to popular belief coffee should not be stored in the fridge or freezer.
Because coffee is porous it absorbs smells and odors around it. Protect your coffee in an airtight container.
While roasted coffee beans start to lose small amounts of flavor within two weeks, ground coffee begins to lose its flavor in minutes.
